Scott Gunem MBA Coordinator

Education:

  • Juris Doctor, Creighton University
  • M.B.A., UW-Whitewater
  • B.S.-Business Administration, UW-Stevens Point
  • Certifications include admitted into the Nebraska Supreme Court (1999) and United States District Court of Nebraska (1999)

“My past stints in the legal field include working as the assistant attorney general in Nebraska and as an editor with Thomson West. I have also taught at UW-Eau Claire, UW-Whitewater and criminal justice courses at Mount Senario. The best thing about being an instructor is working with enthusiastic learners and how energizing they can be to students and instructors. Have you noticed that Globe instructors don’t seem to age? It’s true! A stimulating, collaborative learning environment keeps everyone young at heart. Everyone on campus is focused on student success. The campus culture promotes professionalism, collegiality, intellectual growth and personal development. I love it!

Scot W. Vaver

Education:

  • M.B.A., Regis University
  • B.S.-Business Management, Regis University
  • A.A.S.-Criminal Justice, Chippewa Valley Technical College

“My belief in teaching is that through the transfer of knowledge and free exchange of ideas comes strength for both yourself and those you share it with. My past work experience includes working as an accounting manager and systems manager as well as classroom experience with Madison Area Technical College.

One fun fact about me is my interest in computer programming – I am working with a computer programmer to develop a program for researchers to categorize sources and develop a customized database for querying.”

Heather Rothbauer-Wanish, Coordinator, Accounting

Heather Rothbauer Wanish

Education:

  • M.B.A., Lakeland College
  • B.B.A.-Business Management, UW-Eau Claire

“I have held a lot of different positions within the Eau Claire community such as a print room manager, account manager and a general manager at a photo studio. I also work as a freelance writer for various publications in town and am active in local Chambers. The best thing about being an instructor is knowing that I am helping students understand the world of business and what I really enjoy about this opportunity with Globe University is working with a new campus – it’s exciting!

One fun fact about me is that I love to go deer-hunting with my family.”

Robert Heintz

Education:

  • M.S.-Industrial Relations, Wayne State University
  • B.A.-Music Education, Indiana University
  • Certifications: DDI Facilitator, Zenger Miller Facilitator

“I have worked in human resources and employee relations for over 20 years in the healthcare, automotive and food industries. My past teaching experience includes lecturing at UW-Stout, Lakeland College and UW-Eau Claire in classes on labor relations, psychology and HR management. The Eau Claire area has been home to me for nearly ten years and I have found that I am still able to incorporate my appreciation for music as the musical director of Troppo, a jazz ensemble in town.”
