Christine Wildes

Christine Wildes

Education:

  • M.B.A.-Minnesota School of Business
  • M.A.-Education/Human Resource Management, UW-Stout
  • B.S.-Education/Psychology, UW-Stout

“I am married to a wonderful man and have three children: Jordan, Jared and Cameron – all three are very active in sports and school activities. The family doesn’t stop there…I have four stepchildren and seven grandchildren. I love on CG Ranch in the Menomonie area where the current critters include five horses, one black lab, three cats, nine kittens, five chickens and seven new baby chicks. I am always ready for good conversation, including but not limited to: horses, Insights discovery and psychology. I am an MBA student here at the university, check out my name on the Perfect Attendance Awards!”

Michael Edward Stacy

Education:

  • Degree in Educational Administration, University of Connecticut, Storrs
  • M.A.-Guidance and Counseling, University of Wisconsin-Madison
  • B.S.-Education (Social Studies), Carroll University

“My experience includes working as a guidance counselor, guidance director, high school principal and then later moving to post-secondary options as an instructor (CVTC and Lakeland College), seminar facilitator at River Source Family Center and dean of general studies at CVTC.

I am also active in the community, serving as the past president of the L.E. Phillips Library Board and past vice president of the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra Board. I am currently in my fifth term as the Town Board supervisor for the Town of Washington board.

I am inspired to teach because I feel that teaching affords me as an instructor an outstanding opportunity to share with the students in a learning exercise that is mutually beneficial for all parties. One of the most interesting aspects of my life is that I am an FAA pilot. Over the past several years, I have flown well over 500 hours. In my free time I do aerial photography (don’t worry, someone else is flying while I take the pictures).”

Sara Scovil

Education:

  • M.A., Education – St. Mary’s University
  • B.S., Mathematics – Winona State University

“During my freshman year of high school I decided I wanted to become a teacher because I had a wonderful math teacher who really inspired me. I like the close-knit learning environment at Globe and enjoy working with our students.

I have an identical twin sister who also lives in Eau Claire, so while it may appear I’m in a lot of places at once, I actually have help.”

Renee Willkom

Renee Willkom

Campus Librarian

Education:

  • M.L.I.S., College of St. Catherine
  • B.A.-Professional Writing, St. Mary’s University of Minnesota

“I have always loved libraries. As a young child, I created a library in my parents’ basement and forced my siblings to check out books. I grew up in nearby Cadott and my first library job was at the Cadott Community Library, when I was in high school. While studying for my master’s degree, I got experience in several places, including Loome Booksellers in Stillwater, the James J. Hill Reference Library in St. Paul and the Special Collections department at the Minneapolis Public Library. After graduation, I moved to New York to work as project cataloger for the Redemptorists of the Baltimore Province, a religious order. I lived and worked in their monastery for a year.

One fact you may not guess about me is that I play the accordion.”
