What to look for in an online college
Does the online program have a support system?
Globe University’s online division has an extensive system of online support. We offer an online help desk with technicians available many hours each week to help you solve hardware and software problems. And instructors are available by phone, e-mail and chat to answer questions about the course itself.
Does the school offer a variety of degrees and diplomas?
Our online division offers online programs in business, legal science and information technology. In addition, students in other fields can often take many of their courses online and create hybrid degree programs that meet their needs.
Does the college offer instruction in how to be a successful online learner?
We provide online tutorials, in-person assistance and help using our extensive online library, including an online librarian dedicated to helping distance learners use our electronic resources.
Can students mix and match online and on campus classes to complete their degrees?
Students at Globe University can construct programs that fit their schedules. Some students complete their programs entirely online, while others combine online classes and courses at our Eau Claire campus. They can even take individual classes that sometimes meet in class and sometimes meet online—hybrid courses.
