Areas of emphasis in business management
Students enrolled in the business management program full-time are able to complete their programs in three years. They select from one of these areas of emphasis:
Graduates are prepared for leadership roles and positions on management teams or for small business ownership and entrepreneurship.
Courses in this bachelor’s degree program
In the initial quarters of the program, students complete basic business management classes and general education courses. The business management courses cover topics such as the following:
- Accounting
- Managerial accounting
- Business communications and writing
- Supervisory management
- Business law
- Small business management
- Leadership management
- Operations management
- Business ethics
Students also complete a capstone course in business management and become proficient in MS Office Professional. They also take courses that help them hone their study skills and prepare them to begin their job searches.
They take courses in their areas of emphasis in the last eight quarters of their degree programs.
Online availability
The business management bachelor’s degree is available through the online division of Globe University. Students may complete their programs entirely online or combine online classes with those at our Eau Claire campus. They can take classes at another campus or attend part-time.
