Student support = student success
Tutoring
We offer tutoring services, usually provided by more advanced students in the same program. On occasion, instructors meet with students for additional instruction. Students report that their teachers help them pass competency exams that allow them to test out of basic classes. Although good grades are not the only measure of success, they are a big part of it. We provide the resources students need.
Resource centers
We offer writing and math labs. If it’s been many years since you took high school math, we can help. If you’re uncertain about correct grammar for a paper, we have the resources to set you straight. We know that our students come to us with different levels of preparation and experience. We provide the help they need to succeed at college work.
Student organizations
Student organizations add greatly to campus life at Globe University-Eau Claire. Not only do these groups provide students with a less formal way to interact with each other, they also offer opportunities to develop contacts in their fields of interest. They also contribute to the larger community through events such as education drives, animal shelter fund-raisers and park cleanups.
Library
Our campus librarian is available to help students use the many resources available in our library. Whether you want to learn how to access an online database or find out how to cite a database in a research paper, our librarian can assist.
Career services
We have a dedicated career services department that helps students with their job searches. When they need someone to proofread their resumes or review their cover letters, they can depend on our career services staff.
